ABOUT MAUREEN

Grammy-nominated and Berklee College of Music trained, Maureen brings over 30 years of voice training, professional performance experience, and music education to her coaching. She understands the rigorous physical, psychological, and emotional challenges vocalists face on and off stage, and pairs that empathy with deep proficiency in voice science. This integrated, purposeful approach to vocal development creates aligned practice strategies that consistently produce life-changing results for singers at every level.

Maureen is a professional live, studio and touring vocal artist, vocal coach, who is passionate about holistically cultivating and protecting all voices. At any given time, Maureen can be found performing on tour, recording and performing with GRAMMY award winning artists, producing vocals for established and developing artists, or teaching in her private voice studio, helping professional vocalists prevent vocal injury, find presence and achieve their greatest vocal abilities.

Maureen is currently accepting new clients and works with vocalists of all ages, but only those that are established professionals, or those who are pursuing a professional career in music. Lessons are given privately at Maureen Murphy Voice Studio, conveniently located just 10 minutes from Downtown Nashville. Remote lessons are also available worldwide.
